I walked from Pelham Bridge to Washingborough and back along Sincil Drain this evening and saw/heard a total of 29 species of birds. Id have seen more if i'd taken my binoculars!
Highlights:
1 x Barn Owl, 1 x Bullfinch, 1 x Common Tern over Sincil Drain, 1 x Grey Partridge, 3 x Greenfinches together on the railings at Fitness First, 13 x Mistle Thrushes together sat in the top of a pylon, Common Whitethroats, heard 1 x Cuckoo and also heard my first Grasshopper Warbler of the year reeling at 2130 pm.

Cheers,
Matthew.
