A walk this afternoon on a blustery day produced
Garganey (male by the visitor centre)
Hobby (between the grazing marsh and Willow Lake hide)
Cuckoo (between the grazing marsh and Willow Lake hide - sixth one heard this year but haven't seen one yet)
c30 common tern
c600 black headed gulls
1 Common Gull
100+ swift (all over the reserve)
50+ (Willow Lake)
Green Woodpecker
Great Spotted Woodpecker
Plenty of Chiffchaff, Willow and Garden Warblers
Whitethroat and Blackcap were not so vocal today
Little Grebe 6
4 Oystercatcher
1 Bullfinch
1 Buzzard
1 Tree Sparrow
Great Crested Grebe 10
