An enjoyable 5 hours on site today saw the assembled birder's treated to some superb views of the White-tailed Eagle this afternoon,i also managed to get some great views of it perched at the side of the fishing ponds.Also seen here:

1 Hobby
6 Common Buzzard

Steve,Its actually Ruckland 5 miles due south of Louth grid ref TF 335775 (just to dispell any confusion,) the bird was seen in flight heading south over the bluestone heath road at c1720 hrs.

WT Eagle showed well around the fish ponds at Ruckland from 10.55 - 11.15h today (Mon), then it flew off low over a ridge to the north.

Phil Hyde with Gerv Orton and a few others.
