Tetney =: Tawny Pipit, 7 Dotterel, 2 Short e Owl, Cuckoo, 6 Wheatear, 8 Greenshank, ( + Wood Sandpiper reported.)

Rosper Rd Pools Immingham.
Mad dash from Tetney to see the Collared Pratincole perform well till 12.10 when it gained height and flew off south. ( + 4 Arctic Tern thru. )

I drove past Rosper Road at 0945 this morning but didn't know to stop at the Pools!! #-o

I will refrain from using the language going through my head at the moment, but that would have been a lifer!! :evil: :evil:

Could this be the one that was at Spurn on Sunday?

If the finder of the Collared Pratincole at Rosper Road views this forum we should be grateful if they could make themselves known so that they can be credited accordingly in the 2011 Lincs Bird Club report.
An excellent find in a little-watched area!

Managed to connect with the Tawny Pipit this a.m.,albiet briefly,feeding along the canal side in an area of rotting sugar beet,but unfortunately ran out of time to look further.Also here today:

7 Dotterel
1 Short-eared Owl
2 Cuckoo
3 Wheatear(1m,2f)
