Nightingales put on tremendous show round Coot lake. Cheers. Rick

2.5 hours this morning 7-9.30am provided great views of 2 nightingales in full song, with four others heard. Also a good number of garden warblers, blackcaps, chiffchaffs and whitethroats. Lesser whites also heard, though not by me.

No sign of terns, except a couple of Common, and didn't get to Teal Lake for the Yellow-legged Gull (which I probably wouldn't have recognised anyway!)

I can't understand how dog walkers and 'power walkers' can pass through such a place alive with bird song, wearing headphones!
