There was a good selection of waders at Horseshoe Point on the evening high tide including Grey Plover,Knot,Bar-wit and Turnstone but no sign of the Dotterel reported this morning. This morning at Pyes Hall there was a Short-eared Owl, a Greenshank and a ringtail Hen Harrier (a different bird to the one reported at Rimac also this morning). There was a male Redstart near Stonebridge car park. At Covenham Res. a Barnacle Goose was unusual plus 2 first year Little Gull and the long staying drake Red-crested Pochard.
