120 Curlews on old grassland near Sibsey yesterday (TF342500) calling and bubbling, a welcome sound of Spring on its way.

At this site near Sibsey today there were still 70 or so Curlew. I suppose that their breeding grounds must be in the far North somewhere as local Curlew have been displaying on their breeding grounds in South Lincs for at least 2 weeks now.

Also a Little Ringed Plover on a scrape in the same grass field.
