Hi,

Great White Egret on wet grassland with Little Egret from 08:30 (thanks Ian!)
Also;
Greenshank - 1
Avocet - 7
Whooper Swan - 47
Barnacle Goose - 8
Scaup - 2
Barn Owl - 1
Green Woodpecker - 1
Lapland Bunting - 1
Twite - 27
It's going to be a great day for displaying Lapwings. There were already 2 or 3 displaying early this morning in minus 3 degrees.

Cheers,

John

Yes a great day and was good to meet you again John.

Ian and myself both got onto the egret from different different positions at the same time. A real treat having failed to locate the Kirkby/Woodhall bird yesterday.

If it returns, can someone let me know via PM? Parents are going to the Cotswolds for a few days on Friday so I won't have transport. Thanks in advance if you're able to give me a lift there!

Flew off towards Boston late morning apparently. The Kirkby bird also disappeared about the same time
