A large number of people from far reaches in search of Short eared owls, didn't perform to well one did cough up a pellet on a post for some lucky people.

Arrived at 15:00 - 17:00 - The following were seen

3 Short Eared Owl
6 Skylark - singing proud spring is on its way :D
1 Marsh Harrier (Male)
1 Grey Heron
3 Kestrel
20 Carrion Crow
3 Mallard 2M 1F
4 Magpie
23 Chaffinch
2 Dunnock
4 Blue Tit
5 Goldfinch
2 Coot
2 pheasant 1M 1F
4 Blackbird
6 Mistle Thrush

In addition to above list :

approx 15 Common Buzzard seen, including 9 together in the air at once :)
3/4 Marsh Harrier
a number of Corn Buntings (heard but not counted)
