On a windy walk from Donna Nook to Horseshoe Point and return, on crossing Pyes Hall outfall 5 short eared owls took flight from the piles of rubbish in the corner of the sea wall.

Also seen many Brent Geese, in 6 flocks feeding on the marsh best estimate would be 700 but could be more,
