The Churchwarden who liaises with us over the arrangements at St James Church, Louth with all matters to do with the the Peregrines, has organised the following for this season. The tower has been closed to all visitors since Christmas. It will remain closed until we know what the breeding situation is this year. If the birds breed there will, of course, be no access to the tower apart from the licensed personnel below. A camera will be put in place by next week and it will be connected to a screen for viewing in the Church. We would be pleased to hear from any local birders who see a scrape being made in the gravel or anything else of interest. We are grateful to the Church for their partnership in this venture.
Bob Sheppard and Alan Ball.
