Message just received from Dave Hitchin

Hi Kev saw a rough legged buzzard to day perched on a round straw bale,in field opposite golf range on wainfleet
by pass it was there on tuesday too

Also, at Gib today;

waxwing 31 (including flock of 24 along road edge). Small numbers have been seen daily recently.
shorelark 1 south early on with three on the saltings later. (10 flew inland ysterday morning with two on the Freshwater Marsh later)
Lapland bunting 6 south (up to 15 in recent days).
Ring ouzel - one still present on E Dunes
moderate southerly finch movement this morning involved c15 bramblings, 15 redpoll and 30 siskin.
Small groups of whoopers have passed south daily.

A spate of firecrest records earlier in the week involved three different birds.

A rough-legged Buzzard above the Viking Way between Tealby and North Willingham at 1115 this morning. Also 9 Snipe in a waterlogged stubble field beside the Viking Way one field north of the A631 at North Willingham.
