Tried a seawatch this afternoon at 16:00 but too much sand blowing off beach into car and rain on closed windows.
In 30mins:
Bonxie - 8
Arctic Skua - 13 - all flying down beach together
Gannet - 11
Common Scoter - 45

I did one from 0700 to 0800 at Mablethorpe, arctic skua 17 s 5 n grt skua 4s 1n, sooty shearwater 1n, little gull 1n
gannet 27s 16n, com scoter33 s, plus various waders ,terns , regards John.

Sandilands 08:30-11:30 constant rain and huge swell -- no shearwaters 6 Arctic Skuas, 8 Greats and a few Gannets

Inland over Grainthorpe early afternoon a juvenile Arctic and a juvenile Pom Skua came from inland and flew out towards Pyes Hall -- never needed the code for Pom before!
