8 Common Sandpiper present this morning plus a single sum plum Knot which is a patch tick, surprising really as the site is only a mile from the shore, have been watching this site since it was created early 1988 so iv'e only waited 22 years for this species! . 8)

Wish I'd seen them, never seen that amount before.

Are the pits too disappear once the work starts on the construction of the wind farm site or are they going to be saved?
