Roy Twigg rang me 5.20 to say 50 Whooper Swans had just flown over him on Metheringham Fen heading NW, so towards Lincoln! Did they touch down in Lincs or carrry on?

He had also seen Hen Harrier on the fen.

Looking at Birdguides tonight there are 80 Whooper Swans this afternoon at Sandtoft in north Lincs by the M180, this is in direct line with the above swans flight path, part of the same flock?
