Brent 900 Some on the Frampton side of the river and about 350 actually on the water. As usual very noisy

A routine walk in delightfully mild and very bright conditions did not produce anything of special interest until 15.35 when we arrived back at the car. Flying at about 150 feet were 2 Whooper Swans in a westerly direction parallel with the river. A loud bugle call was rendered as they passed overhead. It made my day!! Now I am asking myself the question why only 2 and reflecting on the fact that I have to go back so many years for such a record in either November/December at Freiston or the river mouth.
