Highlights from today’s (11th October) RSPB boat trip out of Boston

1 Mediterranean Gull (2nd Winter bird) near the rubbish dump
1 Black Redstart on the Frontier grain building – Boston Dock
2 Whooper Swan – south past Cut End and up the Welland
1 Red-throated Diver
2 Gannets
c5 Marsh Harriers
1 Buzzard
c50 Little Egrets
24 Grey Heron
c300 Brent Geese
c60 Shelduck
15 Teal
8 Wigeon
2 Eider (females – no sign of the King Eider!)
c20 Swallows
1 House Martin
1 Sparrowhawk
