Hi,

Haven't visited the forums in many months so hope I'm putting this in the right place. We've had Spotted Flycatchers breeding in the garden here at Searby for the last 4 or 5 years but this year so far there has been not a single sight of one. Used to see 8+ hunting at once, regularly.

Finally this morning we have definitely 2, maybe 3 or 4 hunting in the trees on our front lawn, first we've seen this year. Not big news by bird forum standards but we're pleased to see them. Hopefully they'll stay around to keep us entertained when our swifts pack up and move on soon :)
