Well our regular forum friend Med Gull 3K45 was present this evening at Chapel Point. It arrived on July 20th last year! It's just starting to moult into winter plumage. This is it's 4th summer at Chapel Point - last record was February 16th this year.
Steady trickle of waders and terns south past the point:
Whimbrel
Dunlin
Sanderling
Black-tailed Godwit
Bar-tailed Godwit
Knot
Curlew
Turnstone
Oystercatcher
Arctic Tern - 11
Common Tern
Sandwich Tern
Red-throated Diver - full plumage
