Location: Swanpool, Lincoln
Having returned from Toft I went across my patch, again in pouring rain, hoping for terns and small gulls.
At the mere the only terns were the 2 resident Commons and a few hirundines.

Walking back in the rain I was surprised to hear a Grasshopper Warbler reeling from the rough area just S of Catchwater drain.
This is the first record for the patch since May 1992 when one was reeling from the same area.

104 for the year.
