Hi

At the grand opening of the new habitats and visitor facilities at Frampton Marsh today, there were:

Garganey - 3 (male and female on the "reedbed" infront of the visitor centre late afternoon, plus an elusive male on the south scrape all day)
Short-eared Owl - 3 on the saltmarsh early morning only
Ruff - 1 on reedbed
Greenshank - 1

Cheers,

PF.

Also Black-tailed Godwit, Pintail, Teal, Shoveler, Gadwall, Avocet, Redshank, Lapwing, Reed Bunting, Skylark, Yellow Wagtail and Goldfinch.

New facilities are totally, utterly, wholly spectacularly fantastic! Sighting of Garganey brings my list up to 172!

Who needs Cley?

Good to meet so many people today - and to get two more year ticks - Pintail and Garganey
