At least 48 birds present this aftie until at least 5.15,feeding in the afore mentioned Coteneaster and also watched eating the flowers off a nearby Willow, giving superb views, thanks to Mr and Mrs Spavin for the call. :D .

Steve

The birds were still present just before midday today, although I only saw about 30, was told by GPC and others that upwards of 40 were there. They kept flitting between the cotoneaster and the large willow on opposite side of road.

Best view I've ever had of Waxwing.

Had circa 50 birds showing really well between 9am-10am, then we left for Laughton til later. Popped back around tea time, c50 showed only twice (very flighty) in 2 hours.

Nice to meet up with Martin Common :)
