After a family birthday gathering in Mablethorpe we called briefly at a few places on the way home.

Highlights were:

2 Barn Owl - North Somercotes (out hunting early afternoon)
1 Barn Owl - Thoresby Bridge
1 Little Egret - Theddlethorpe
6 Little Egret and 1 Marsh Harrier (f) at Grainthorpe Haven
2 Marsh Harrier - South Ferriby

Then during our Bird Study Group meeting at Far Ings this evening we were treated to a Short Eared Owl hunting on the foreshore behind the VC.
