Some evidence of migration today at Saltfleet with small numbers of Chaffinches and Meadow Pipits passing through along with a single Siskin. Also 45 Pink-feet north, a female Stonechat and a Short-eared Owl hunting around the haven.

The 9 M and 5 F blackbirds that have spent most of the winter feeding in my garden have this morning become 1m 4 f, so assume the strong westerly and clear sky was good to head off to europe last night.
