Cycled over to Nocton for what I thought would be a simple bird for my "green list". Despite 2 hours from 1300 till 1500 there was no sign of the Black Kite. Single Peregrine and 2 Buzzard present though. Anyone know when it was last seen and/or if its still present?? Anybody been keeping a regular watch??

Managed to see Willow Tit at last, at Woodhall Spa, so not a complete waste of time!!

The Black Kite was seen on Tuesday 6th November , it flew from the copse in the middle of the field to the East of Glebe Farm, over the road and spent about 5 mins flying/perching in the trees alongside the drive to Ram Farm. last seen above the "triangular" copse adjacent to Dunston Pillar.

Best Wishes
Derek

I saw it, on and off, for about 2.5 hours, on the morning of 7th November.
It was spending most of its time just to the north of the belt of trees leading from the road to Ram farm.
