Undoubtedly the highlight of a 4 hour seawatch from 0700 till 1100 was 2 adult summer plumaged Sabines Gulls drifting north, dwarfed by a Kittiwake at 0940. They settled on the sea, were harrassed briefly by an Arctic Skua and were still present when I left at 1100. Totals as follows:
Fulmar 2N
Sooty Shearwater 2N
Gannet 64N
Shelduck 3S
Wigeon 49
Gadwall 1N
Teal 72
Shoveler 5N
Scaup 1N
Eider 22
Common Scoter 68
Goldeneye 1N
Golden Plover 1N
Pom Skua 1N pp adult
Arctic Skua 58N mostly adults
Bonxie1N
UID Skua 6N
Little Gull 1N adult
Sabines Gull 2N
Kittiwake 18N
Sandwich Tern (250+) N
Common Tern 68N
