I have received information for a colour ringed Redshank I observed at Donna Nook, near the Quad 3 building, on 19th February 2017. The bird had a white ring with a black flag above the knee on the left leg and a black and orange ring above the knee on the left leg with a metal ring below the knee. Details of this bird as follows;

It is a 'Humber' bird.

This bird was one of 46 Redshank, part of a much larger total catch, at Welwick Saltmarsh Ponds, Humber north bank, on 29th October 2016. It was aged as a juvenile bird, born in 2016. This is the first re-sighting of the bird. However, we have also heard about 2 other Redshank from that same catch. One was seen at the Kilnsea Wetlands site, near Spurn Head, on 9th December, and the other has been seen twice on the Northumberland coast, on 29th December 2016 and 1st March 2017.
