Wildlife Crime
The making of an Investigations Officer

I’m pleased to let you know that later this week we will be publishing Wildlife Crime, the making of an Investigations Officer by Dave Dick, who was the RSPB’s Senior Scottish Investigation Officer.

We were delighted to receive a superb Foreword from Sir John Lister-Kaye, an extract of which is shown on the press release. He also commented that ‘Dave Dick’s photographs and the carefully detailed accounts of his casework over the twenty-five years of his career are a wake-up call to all of us, whether we work with wildlife or not’.

This inevitably controversial book includes a large number of actual wildlife crime cases from discovery to court cases and publicity and lifts the lid on the pressures faced by some of our most iconic wildlife species.

Best wishes,
