Finding the Feathered – What We Do: Finding the Feathered orchestrates over-landing bird tours, and aims to expose individuals from all over the world, to the magnificent assortment of Southern African birds. What we do is take people of all ages on pre-planned tours to a wide variety of well-known birding destinations. The areas in which the tours are conducted are places that we have birded extensively. We offer set packages, as well as the choice of “custom packages” in which you decide on the destinations visited and the length of the tour. We organise and arrange almost all components of the tour, taking much of the logistical pressure off you, in addition to saving you time and money. Due to our local knowledge and experience of the Southern African bird life, we will be able to expose you to a wide variety of birds within the area, maximising your birding experience. Our familiarity with the birding sites, as well as our trained eye, adds to the ease and enjoyment of the birding, yet another advantage of utilising Finding the Feathered… About the Guides: We, Matthew Burnett and Andrew Winchester, are a qualified field and tourist guides with an innate love of both birds and wildlife. We are 26 years of age, have lived in South Africa and Swaziland, and have over 10 years of guiding experience between us. We share a passion for birding and conservation and wish to convey some of the knowledge and experience that we have gained over the years to you.
