2 Black Swans at Kenwick Park near Louth on 10th May, I wonder if this is where some of the recorded birds are coming from. I had singles at Saltfleet Paradise pool,Huttoft Pit and Gib Pt. in the last few months. Do they breed at Kenwick Park?

Black Swan around the Bourne area - Often with pair of Mutes at Elsea Park. Used to be a pair in Bourne Park, but only seen the one this year.

I don't know if they breed at Kenwick Park but there have been two there for at least two or three years.

There was the usual pair of black swans on the St Peter's pool in Bourne on 17 March this year with 4 downy cygnets.

4 juvenile Black Swans in the pond at the back of Bourne Park. They do not look like this years, they are too big, but still not adult plumage (Still brown/black). Local tells me they have been around on and off for months!

1 Adult still in Elsea Park area (With pair of Mutes).

Anyone in the Bourne area know there history? Would be interesting to know more details.

Thanks, Bob
