Nearly drove off the road today when I saw a Glossy Starling, Lamprotornis sp., sitting on a wooden bridge beside King Street, Langtoft. Map ref. TF107122. Brilliant turquoise colour. Only recognised it from a trip to the Gambia with Ian Misselbrook in December. Regards Hugh Dorrington |
