A few classics found on You Tube which, even if you have seen before, are worth another look. First up a real gem from my childhood. A riveting programme containing drama and suspense that beats any modern day reality TV show. It's Bird Brain of Britain all the way back from 1985. https://youtu.be/5JB6D2xRutA Next up a quite brilliant TV presenter and naturalist who had a knack of clearly getting the message across to the layperson. It's Tony Soper Go Birding. This programme includes birders at the Wood Thrush on the Isles of Scilly on 7th October 1987 and an interview with Peter Grant about Twitching. https://youtu.be/P2WG5IiIbcs Finally not quite Birdwatching Gold but some gripping TV if you weren’t on Scilly the autumn Janet Sumner reported for Natures Calendar and 'ticked off' four top class rarities in a day and a half in 'Twitching the Scilly Isles with Ken Reeves, Neil Glenn & the BBC Film Crew'. https://youtu.be/PWObnPm-3P8 There will be more gems lurking out there I'm sure.
