Went for a little stroll this early evening & whilst watching a rather large murmeration a little egret flew by..then another & then another & so on & so on..
Each & everyone landed in the same tree.By the time I left they were approaching 20 in numbers..
Up until then I'd never seen a single egret in a tree!

Hello Andy,
unfortunately not far Ings but down the road at Alkborough.
stood on the path with the plastic bottle recycled seats..if that makes sense..
If you look up the hill with the horses in a tad left from the house on the hill...
Roosting time you will see them all fly in (take it steady on that bike if you go)
