Sad news in Pembrokeshire where reports of finding dead starved Little Egrets seem common as well a BTO ringing blog claims of 39 reports of dead Barn Owls. I was wondering what affect weather was having on our local species? Have any casualties been found once the snow thawed? Has anyone observed any trend in species found dead? I can co-ordinate reports for Lincolnshire if anyone would like to send any morbid news that might become valuable data come breeding season. Thanks |
