A name that may well be recognised by those familiar with the Fishtoft village church originally known as Accipiter Guthlac.
A species that migrated from Crowland about 800 years ago but has never been seen until a few days ago.
Found exclusively in brassica fields which it is suppose to give absolute protection to from marauding Wood Pigeons. It lands on it's head or tail and sometimes upside down. It is suspended from a tall elasticated pole. Needless to say the partisan Wood Pigeon's laughter has been heard as far away as Freiston.
No doubt the price of seasonal veg will be reflected by it's abject failure.

Seasons greetings to all members and best wishes for 2011 and sincere apologies for the spoof!!
