Post subject:  Walk on the Tide-Line

Birding while walking along the tide-line/edge of the salt-marsh, from Humberston Yacht Club to Tetney.

Talking to a visitor recently at Saltflleet he mentioned that years ago he and a friend had walked along the shoreline from the Yacht club to Tetney outflow at low tide.

So I wondered! Starting at low tide and without getting wet and bearing in mind I am not :!: 'Bear Grylls' :(
Is it still possible :?: Has any LBC member walked it recently :?: How long did it take them :?: and how difficult is/was it :?:

Derick, The outer shore and haven outfall has changed over the years and it can be quite
tricky in places with some very soft areas, and channels, as you progress eastwards from Humberstone to Northcotes its a long way out at low tide,so caution is needed. Cliff Morrison and i have been doing monthly low water wader/wildfowl surveys since last sept,
from Horseshoe Point to Humberstone, its a long walk and the rising tide comes in quickly over the outer foreshore.
regards John.
