Large Red Damselfly - 1 [ and another one found later by Roger Hatcliffe]
It was on the yellow gorse almost next to the bench seat near Duck Hide.

Good numbers of teneral damsel's on the wing today,with a few mature insect's and the first dragon's of the year:

96 Common-blue Damselfly
10 Blue-tailed Damselfly
1 Hairy Dragonfly
1 Four-spot Chaser
10 Azure Damselfly
5 Large-red Damselfly

Found 6 exuvia today at Messingham plus another with a hairy dragonfly emerging.
3 hairy dragonfly and 3 four spot chaser on the wing plus the usual damselflies.

180 Common-blue Damselfly
112 Blue-tailed Damselfly
48 Azure Damselfly
48 Large-red Damselfly
6 Hairy Dragonfly
3 Red-eyed Damselfly
2 Four-spot Chaser
