had a pair and a male this afternoon in the drain at South Killingholme by Rosper Road; are these the first records for North Lincs? in fact the first north of Gib in the county (I know there have been records in E Yorks)--pic in album

At least one male again today,in above mentioned drain,showed very well,also:
5 Emperor(3 male,2 female)
15 Black-tailed Skimmer
1 male Emerald Damselfly
3 Male Banded Demoiselle
5 Ruddy Darter

5 males and a pair in tandem today----have they emerged locally or is there an influx taking place?

At least 6 seen this afternoon, showing well on the floating vegetation, especially where a thin pipe crosses the drain. Several other species of dragonfly also present, including two male Banded Demoiselles and a female Emperor seen ovipositing.
