Highlights at Whisby today (Wed 27 June) when the sun came out to play.

3m 1f Banded Demoiselle - a bit of a mini influx as this species usually only occurs as a straggler to Whisby. Having said that, Pike Drain is at maximum carrying capacity and looks like the R Witham on a normal day at the moment!
2 Brown Hawker - first records for the year at Whisby
1 Southern Hawker

Plus good numbers of the commoner species.
