Please note I'm a day late posting this, better late than never! 1 male Hairy Dragonfly from the seated viewpoint at Dragonfly Lakes on Sat afternoon. Watched for 45 mins. First confirmed record for Whisby for c20 years. Also a Hawker spp seen briefly in the Pylon Enclosure, not Hairy, but probably a very early Brown. 3 Black-tailed Skimmer on Magpie walk Grahame |

Delighted you had a brown hawker over the weekend Grahame. I had one by the drain next to the chicken sheds on the 6th, but felt uncomfortable about reporting it as it is so early. Cheers. Rick |
