A very impressive early season count for some of the 13 species recorded today included the following: 14 Common Hawker 19 Southern Hawker 4 Brown Hawker 15 Common Darter 4 Ruddy Darter 179 Black Darter 4 Black-tailed Skimmer 12 Four-spot Chaser 26 Large-red Damselfly 10 Emerald Damselfly 10 Blue-tailed Damselfly 5 Common-blue Damselfly 10 Azure Damselfly Regards, Steve with Tim Cowley. |
