Hi All

Before we get too far into the 2011 recording season, I would like to say a big 'thank you' to all who sent me records or posted them on this website. Over 950 records were sent to British Dragonfly Society which is a record number for Lincolnshire. Steve Prentice (BDS Atlas Officer) tells me that the maps on the BDS website will be updated soon to incorporate the new data.

Highlights in 2010 were the white-legged damselfly in Bourne Woods (4/7/10), the golden-ringed dragonfly (2/8/11) at Old Moor Drain, the yellow-winged darter at Gib (5/8/10) as well as at least 3 new 10-km records for small red-eyed damselfly.

Thanks

Nick
