A little late but from 5/6/10

SK839362 and thereabouts

Red-eyed damselfly 50+ ovipositing
Banded demoiselle 3
Azure damselfly at least 2
Variable damselfly at least 2
Four-spotted chaser 1 male
Hairy dragonfly 1 male

A good site with good bankside vegetation (too good in some parts as reed restricts the view). Further towards Grantham the canal is shaded with mature trees but the whole canal is probably worth visiting.
