The first species of the new season where seen today,2 Large-red Damselfly,1 along the track to the wader hide and 1 along the path near to the area of lilly pads where the Red-eyed Damsels usually are.

Didn't come across any Hairy's today,but had the following:

1 Four-spot Chaser
10 Blue-tailed Damselfly
23 Common-blue Damselfly
5 Azure Damselfly
2 Large-red Damselfly

Managed to locate 1 Hairy dragonfly today plus common, azure and large red damsels.
3.30pm - 5.30pm.

Couple of hours after work
1 southern hawker
1 brown hawker
5 black tailed skimmer
3 hairy dragonfly
and a surprise, a male banded demoiselle in the woods along the footpath.
