| Post subject: | Messingham Common Hawker. |
I found a single female Common Hawker today at Messingham in the plantation,flushing it and watching it perched up,this is the first sighting for me at Messingham for a couple of years.This has no doubt strayed from Laughton,or perhaps there is a local population we don't know about.Other species observed where as follows: 22 Brown Hawker 2 Ruddy Darter 10 Common Darter 5 Southern Hawker 9 Black-tailed Skimmer Regards Steve,with Dean and Deans dad. |
