You probably had some of the latest dragonfly sightings in the country there? The BDS web site has 11 Nov as the latest so far.
Cheers

Coincidentally 14 Nov was also the last date Common Darter was recorded at Whisby this year, but I very much doubt this comes close to the latest sighting in the country. Based on the last 3 years, the latest sightings for C Darter have been…………………..

2006 11 Dec (Devon)
2005 10 Dec (Cornwall)
2004 17 Dec (Somerset)

Any sightings in Dec may be contenders, but Nov sightings would appear to be normal.

Regards

Grahame
