It seems to have been a good breeding season for both Willow Warblers and Chiffchaffs in the Market Rasen area. 26 Chiffs (Only 1 adult) and 12 Willow Warblers were ringed this morning at Occupation Lane but there were a lot more in the area. Is this relected at other county inland sites? I understand lots have been ringed at Gibraltar Point in the last few days so they are obviously on the move.

Stuart
if that is true it is good news indeed after many years of declining willow warbler numbers.
