Lincolnshire Wildlife Album 6th April 2008

On the 6th April 2008 the Lincs Wildlife Album was hacked. The database was corrupted, and I had no choice but to reload an OLD database.

Unfortunately approx. 8 days worth of photograph were lost in this back up. The rebuild took approx. 2 hours and the site is now fully functioning again, and running the latest version of the album software - so should be hack free!

Any missing images will have to be uploaded again by individual users!

I wonder why someone would want to 'hack' into our album?

This morning the site was affected again! - but now all appears to be fine -the Album is at the cutting edge of virus removal!

Please note that the script would not have downloaded itself to users computer, so anyone looking at the site would have been safe - but please remember that an up to date Virus Checker is always a good idea!
