Visitors to Middlemarsh need to be aware of this very recent development. However, you can still access the hide overlooking the lagoon as described below. John Middlemarsh Wetland Project I'm sad to have to say that the project no longer has the public access we previously provided. There is still one hide accessible at the eastern end (through Pinetrees Leisure Park). Our original Higher Level Stewardship agreement came to an end in October last year and we have now entered into the new Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier. Under the new scheme there is no option for public access so we have incorporated the areas that were access into the wetland. |
