Post subject:  Spurn Lighthouse this Saturday

AN opportunity beckons this weekend to view Grimsby , Cleethorpes and the South Bank of the Humber from a different perspective – the top of Spurn lighthouse.

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust will be hosting visits to the coastal landmark between 12noon and 3pm on Saturday (Jan 7).

The price is £12 (£6 children), and this also includes a trip along the peninsula in an
all-terrain vehicle.

The trust says: “Visitors should remember to wrap up warm – and you need to have a head for
heights.”

Bookings can be made by phone (01904 659570) or online via the trust’s website:

Still on the subject of Spurn, a planning decision on the proposed new visitor centre is due to
be made on January 26.
